August Matched Betting Profit: £4,005.78

Welcome to the monthly Matched Betting Blog update. Each month I blog about matched betting and what matched betting offers I took part in. If you want to join me in making money from matched betting; I recommend signing up for a site like Profit Accumulator to guide you. I also use Smarkets for almost all of my bets as it has the lowest commission charge of all the major exchanges.

August was a very interesting month for me as casino profits overtook sports for the first time I’ve been matched betting. Almost all of this was reload offers, many of which could be repeated daily or weekly. I think it shows where the industry is heading and I’m glad to be ahead of the curve thanks to services like Bonus Accumulator.

Saying that, there were still a few good sports offers. Bet365 really pulled out the stops for lots of inplays, the York racing festival saw all the usual offers and I continued to hit the Minimum Bet Guarantee bookies for about £1000 profit this month. Betfair seem to have gone insane and started a new weekly promotion on their exchange which is super easy profit every week.

On the casino side I was sad but not surprised to see MrQ have now caught on to their “invite only” offer codes working for everyone. It was only a matter of time once people started shouting about them on the big groups and it was disappointing to see even the experience Profit Maximiser group was not immune.

A great example of a casino reload offer is the Foxybingo weekender club. This has an EV of about £4.50 and takes just a few minutes every week. Personally I take the weekly £5 bonus and use it on something high risk to try and hit a big win. I’ve had a few triple figure profit wins out of them with this strategy, or you could just stick to blackjack and remove alot of the variance.

Great to see some fellow group members signing up to Bonus Accumulator. In August my casino profits were almost double my sports earnings, which really shows the direction things are going. If you’re interested in trying out casino offers please do consider signing up through my link which will get you 50% off your first month

  1. Glad to see you found casino far more profitable than sports as I had the same. Signed up for Bonus accumulator based on your previous month and I’ve just been working through all of the signups then I’ll move onto reloads. It’s been great so I’m super glad I found your blog!

Not sure what minimum bet guarantee bookmaker is or what the strategy is behind that but if it nets that much profit I definitely need to look into it, any advice?

    1. Awesome to hear you’ve been doing well with Bonus Accumulator! The reloads arent as valuable as the signup offers but its a case of just chugging through them every day.

Minimum bet guarantee is basically just arbing on gubbed accounts. There’s a few tricks to it but it’s nowhere near as profitable as it was a couple of years ago unfortunately.

  2. I’ve seen PA advertising their Bonus Accumulator. I haven’t done the reload offers or the casino signups, should I wait to do them before signing up for Bonus Accumulator?

    1. Bonus Accumulator will cover all the casino offers on PA plus some more. There’s no requirement to complete one before signing up to the other.

  3. Your MBG course seems to focus on teaching us how to take advantage of the minimum bet guarantee but your comment above suggests its for gubbed accounts and then goes on to say its no where near as profitable as it used to be. I don’t have any gubbed accounts as I’ve only been involved in matched betting for around 2 months and if its not as profitble as it used to be is there still an incentive for me to join your MBG course

    1. Hello Rod,

Gubbed accounts are not a requirement, its just that by taking advantage of the mbg offer your accounts will almost certainly be gubbed in the process. It’s not as profitable as it was a year ago, although I do still make a few hundred from it every month. My advice would be to wait a bit, keep doing signups and reloads offers and then consider mbg once youve got a few gubbings.
