Welcome to the monthly Matched Betting Blog update. Each month I blog about matched betting and what matched betting offers I took part in. This month the Matched Betting Guys & Girls Facebook Group reached over 1200 members! This was a fantastic milestone so thank you to everyone who has joined us and I hope you have found it of value.

April was a slow month for many following the chaos of Cheltenham Festival in March. Bet365 once again ran their amazing grand national offer and there were lots of bookies running extra places on various races that day.

Personally I didn’t make much from the grand national due to having the wrong horses with the wrong bookies for extra places etc, however the month was saved with some amazing minimum bet guarantee days which easily averaged over £100 per day I hit the offer. BetUK decided to remove the offer however William Hill have started running it instead which is excellent news.

I was saddened but not surprised to see some new people attempting this offer and a couple made mistakes which lost money. Please therefore be extremely careful when attempting this offer, it has the potential to go very wrong if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. Some of the information out there about it is lacking in detail and there appears to be a lot of inexperienced matched bettors trying to jump in far too quickly.

I’m still working on my course which will go into a huge amount of detail on this offer and how you can safely take advantage of it. Things have been delayed slightly due to a couple of technical issues but it is still progressing and I hope to have it released soon.
