March Matched Betting Profit: £3,122.84

March Matched Betting Profit: £3,122.84

Welcome to the monthly Matched Betting Blog update. Each month I blog about matched betting and what matched betting offers I took part in.

March was a very busy month with Cheltenahm festival taking place. I took the whole week off work so I could focus on matched betting which resulted in a very nice £2100 worth of profit over 5 days! I’ve written a few more details specifically about the festival offers: Cheltenham Festival Matched Betting Profits

I’ve also spent some time this month re-making the Free Bets Page. I’ve added some new offers and taken off some of the redundant ones while making the whole page layout look a bit nicer. Some of the links on there are affiliate links which help me pay for the web hosting of this site, however I filter all that traffic through a 3rd party company so the bookies can’t see where you came from. If you’ve got some signups to do I’d really appreciate it if you used my Free Bets Page to signup.

Bets of note this month (excluding Cheltenham):

  • £75 from Skybet free £5 on Bingo slots.
  • WH flash boost (they made a mistake and didnt limit it to £10 stake!) £110 profit
  • Sportnation price boost arbs £200 profit
  • WH 4 goals boost £50 profit
  • Netbet 50% inplay bet refund £20 profit
  • MeccaBingo free spins £32 profit
  • Grosvenor free spins £48 profit
  • WH free spins £20 profit
  • BGO £10 free:  £180 profit

As you can see, alot of profit made from various price boosts which I’ll under-lay for extra profit if they win. Lots of sites have been doing daily wager-free spins, the main ones being Meccabingo, Grosvenor and William Hill.

I’ve also discovered what may be a loophole for Meccabingo signup so if you’ve not yet done that one hold off for a few days while I get things tested. If it all works as I expect I’ll send out a mailing to the mailing list with instructions for hitting this loophole. Signup to the list here:

Sites I Recommend:

There are many guides available online which explain the maths behind Matched Betting and how the offers workI strongly recommend you sign up to one of the Matched Betting guide websites. Profit Accumulator has a free trial which requires no payment method to be registered so is great for giving Matched Betting a try for free. Just register with your email address and take a look through the guides for instructions on how to complete the first 2 signup offers.

I use SMarkets for 95% of my lay bets. It has the lowest comission percentage of all the major betting exchanges and you can get a £10 bonus using my link below:

  1. Brilliant – was going to look at signing up to Mecca and a couple of casino etc sites, so looking forward to that.
Had great success with the Gamesys offers even though the sign up is slightly different now.
Amazing Cheltenham ! Can’t wait till next year lol.

    1. Yup, hold off on the Mecca signup for now. i should hopefully have the guide ready and tested by next weekend.

  2. £3050ish here!

One of these months I’ll beat you guy… One day….!! 🙂

Had just an unbelievable run doing no lay each way sniping. My crap Cheltenham is now a long forgotten memory! Look out for the full monthly update should be posting in next couple of days.

Cheers and nice one as usual!

    1. hah! I’ve no doubt you’ll beat me soon with your AP bets. The maths and variance suggests it’ll happen eventually.

I stopped with the no lay EWS when it was barely breaking even. What parameters are you using to select the bets?

      1. Just realised I had another withdrawal that I forgot about which tips me over into the win zone… hah! £3181 profit! (Not that it’s a competition or anything, lol).

I was breaking even for about 10 days then just hit a load of winners which obviously boosted it up massively. It cannot continue like this, obviously but needless to say I will be continuing on with it to see if I can make regular profits.

Parameters: Generally ignore everything under 4/1 unless it’s a really decent arb. I presume you also have an Oddsmonkey account? If so then I just sort by rating %age column, and back anything I see come up that is over 95% if Betfair is the exchange, 98% if it’s Smarkets and make a call if it’s in between that and both exchanges are involved. Not sure if that helps much but I’ll do a proper write up on the blog so keep an eye out for it mate

        1. Also I’ve learned to check Betfair and the graph as well quickly on each one if I get time. Sometimes the odds are a bit out of date and it’s drifted on BF in the meantime in which case I don’t back it.
Also, timing is key and time is of the essence, some of them get cut quickly and you need to jump on! I normally check around 11am and then spin it every hour or so from then on. It helps that I can do this while at work so realise this isn’t possible for many/most people but it works perfectly for me the way I’ve done it so far, so hoping can continue the profits!

          1. Whaaaat! That’s brill, TFS – can’t wait to check out your update! I thought I was doing ok on the EW bets! My no lay accas seem to have taken a dive this week though!

Anyway, fantastic MB profits as usual, MBG but congrats on getting that successful Smarkets affiliate application!

          2. Thanks weenie, I see you made almost £600 yourself which is awesome given how much less time you spend on it. Depending on your tax bracket that’s worth an extra £10000-£20000 salary equilivant which is pretty damn nice.

        2. Told you it was gonna happen soon 😉

My understanding is that the % represents the true value of the snipe, so anything less that 100% is negative value in the long run?

  3. Err – Underlaying where you think you have got a winner is straying into gambling isn’t it ? Presumably you do it on low matched stuff and not the horses ?

    1. I suppose it’s “risk-free gambling”. Mathematically you should be slightly ahead by underlaying as you’re paying less exchange commission on winnings, we only lay to smooth out the variance.
