Welcome to the monthly Matched Betting Blog update. Each month I blog about matched betting and what matched betting offers I took part in. August had some exceptional moments as I was extremely lucky to benefit from 2 stewards enquiries which changed the winner of the horse race after it had finished. This is exceptionally rare but when it does happen it means you can win both your back bet and the lay bet! In my case I was doing Minimum Bet Guarantee arbing so had placed large £100 bets to win £500 with the bookie. This horse then won but was later declared 2nd by the stewards however the bookies had already paid it out as a winner. This netted me £1200 profit from the 2 times it happened.

I also had a good month from low-risk casino offers. August was the 2nd month of Team Casino membership and I made just over £500 from offers listed there. Personally I’ve disagreed with some of the information and tactics given by the TP group in the past, however their Team Casino site really is the best one out there for walking you through low-risk casino. Finally a mention to William Hill’s Golden Goal offer. This has triggered in every single match it covered in August so has been a really good consistent cash cow for me. I know some people like to lock-in a profit after the first goal but I personally leave the bet to run as is so it gives an even bigger profit at the end.
