January Matched Betting Profit: £2,657.80

Welcome to the monthly Matched Betting Blog update. Each month I blog about matched betting and what matched betting offers I took part in.

Another good month. I had an amazing start taking advantage of Bet365 and their 2-up offer. This offer pays out as soon as your team goes 2 goals ahead.. so you place a large amount on a team (and lay it off), hope the score goes 2-0 and then finishes 2-2 etc. I was extremely lucky right at the start of the month to hit this on a £600 value bet, netting an easy matched betting profit!

I also had alot of luck with various price boosts. The best for these are William Hill, Betfred and Skybet in that order. They’ve given me very decent returns almost every day and are even available instore so I’ve been hitting those every lunchtime as well.

I’ve started using Twitter alot more to keep up with what other matched bettors and the bookies are up to. If you want to follow me I’m:

Also if you’ve not yet Setup 2-Factor Authentication on your exchange accounts, make sure you do so asap!

Bets of note this month:

  • £600 from Bet365’s 2-up offer
  • £185 from a £5 bonus on SportingBet
  • About £200 from Ladbrokes free spins per goal offer
  • £50 from Bet365 free spins during key matches
  • £70 from a Coral instore slot offer
  • £300 from horse 2nd place refunds
  • £60 from a free £5 on Skybet
  • £237 from 888Casino £20 freeplay offer
  • £28 from KingJack signup offer

Sites I Recommend:

  1. Hi guy , regarding the boosts – how are you able to get any significant amounts on, they tend to have max bets no ?

    1. It depends on the boost/company. Betfred will do £100 max bet boosts for low value and £10 max for high value but you can usually do them on totesport as well. I also tend to underlay them so will make a much larger profit if it wins or £0 loss if it doesn’t.

      1. Hi guy

I was wondering how you have managed to keep your accounts for so long? I got gubbed by two of the big ones early on and I’ve lost plenty since.

        1. Ive found some bookies are very quick to gub whereas others couldnt care less. I think it helps by being careful what you’re placing bets on, for instance avoiding obscure matches and cold wet evening horse racing. Sometimes the smaller bookies really pay off too. For instance last week SportNation had a £100 free horse bet offer which netted £80. Mansion Bet had a £50 risk free bet signup offer and King Jack Casino had a signup offer worth £30. All these types of offers keep popping up all over the place.

          1. How many major bookie has closed your account so far bacuase i m really curious.

            Thank You

          2. Morning Sam,

I’ve had a fair few gubbings but that doesn’t stop you making money on them. I’ve been hitting the price boosts hard recently which have been really profitable and still work on gubbed accounts.

  2. I got gubbed by William Hill for asking their customer service team to apply a boost retrospectively, after I forgot to click ‘add boost’. I felt like SUCH a plum as this was a good source of daily profit.
I’ve been matched betting since last summer and get nowhere near the amounts you, and others, talk of. I have a bank of around £3000 but am still scratching around for chump change. What am I doing wrong???

    1. Have you signed up for literally every bookie on the PA/PM lists? Completed all the low/medium-risk casino offers? Hit all the daily offers you can? How about going into shops and doing some sharbing, I made £24 this lunch time in 5 minutes between 2 bookie shops.

  3. How much time do you dedicate to Matched Betting each month, and do you tend to do all offers during one time slot (eg. mornings or evenings) or throughout the day? Thanks so much!

    1. I usually do a couple of hours most evenings on weekdays and then maybe 8 hours Saturday, 4 hours Sunday. Plus I take a walk round town on lunchtimes to hit a couple of the inshop offers.

Time is usually spent: Evenings doing that night’s football stuff right after work, then any casino stuff after the matches have started
Weekends I’ll do the sports offers first thing in the morning, then all the Saturday horse racing stuff about 11-3 and then casino/sign-ups after.

      1. And do you think it’s best to let 2ups run? What kind of stakes should I be doing with 2ups, if you don’t mind my asking?
